Thats what a friend who lives there says too.. but her descriptions of the "problems" sound nice to me compared to what I deal with here. I think many US expats get so spoiled in the EU that they forget just how difficult things are in the US now. Or, more often than not, they simply have not been back here in years..

Many can't come back for health insurance reasons, they could never afford health insurance here, and they wouldn't get jobs now for the same reason.. (over 45-50)
