This. Definitely go to a doctor. It will be an extra bargaining tool that you have a personal injury no matter how minor it is. The insurance will be willing to work with you a bit more, and be anxious to close the file. Don't settle until you are fully compensated for. I've been through this myself. I had to hire a lawyer, and that leech took half, but I feel I was compensated for fairly.
