I owned a Sting-Ray in Campus Green, my brother owned a Varsity.
If you don't like the color, you don't. I have had bikes painted because of color.
In this example, as the bike is larger, I bet you could find an ALTERNATE frame either in a finish you want or one truly needing paint for much less than the cost of a new paint job say... from Waterford.
