I drive all day, every weekday . I see very few incidents that classify as road rage . Those that do often classify as an attempt to intimidate others . A person in an automobile trying to influence a person on a bicycle this way goes beyond intimidation into bullying and assault . The police do need to be more vocal, yes, but against those who use violence in this manner . Laws are there to protect the public peace and order , and people on bikes being threatened by people in motor vehicles are not, in any way, capable of responding to being assaulted by that driver .
