Temperature hovering right at the freezing mark for the second day in a row, with a cold north wind. Fortunately the wind was at my back most of way to work this morning, but it made my afternoon commute difficult yesterday. Noticed my stock of clean shirts was getting low yesterday, so I strapped my larger Carradice bag (Pendle) to my bike last night and carried two clean shirts to work this morning along with my usual food and gear. I will probably drive tomorrow due to a Christmas dinner downtown after work, and I doubt if I'll feel like riding 16 miles in the cold and dark at 8 pm after eating and drinking a few beers. I am so close to topping 4,000 miles commuting for the year that I am tempted to ride, but I'll still have two more workdays to ride this week.
