Wow... this is a great video.

I'm in a rush this morning so only saw first 10 minutes. But very intrigued by the London borough of Hackney, with an 8% modal share (cars have only 19%)... a phenomenon that really only took off in the last few years.

Notice how Hackney has a series of "activist" bicycle groups working closely with the city council. Also.. of course... some of the programs. Free cycle training for residents.

If you are an "activist" in your town, there are probably a few lessons for you here to help increase bicycle modal share.
