If it's a Park Tool chainwhip, you can contact them and they will send you a replacement bolt. Those little bolts suck though. After breaking about 20 of them, I finally just attached the chain using a typical KMC master link and it hasn't broken since.
20 times, wow. Do you have any hand left? I took a chunk of skin out of mine somehow.
