With a threadless saw guide, I generally finish off the job by loosening the guide, laying my favorite file against the OD at a 45° angle, and spinning the fork two or three times, leaving a very neat, consistent, professional-looking little bevel. For the ID, I use a deburring tool. Then I grab my ScotchBrite and buff the end of the tube until I'm satisfied with the appearance, relative to how fancy the fork is.
Since I'm doing this for a fee at an LBS, I want it to come out looking like it was worth what we charged
