I read posts about heart rate, cadence, gearing, speed, bike computers, etc. Based on my experience: if my chest hurts = my heart rate is too high, if I can't breathe = I'm spinning too fast, if my knees hurt = I'm pushing too high a gear, I honestly can't tell the difference of .25 mph, and I'd rather see where I'm riding and look at things other than another computer screen.
