I also did my first MS150 Ride with that bike,had a road bike 9spd cassette 12-26 on it and it was a whole lot faster this way. My tires I never keep one set on I had a few from 26x1.50 to 26x2.125. so one week or month I would change to what I would like to ride it around.
Sorry to hear about your Sedona. I really love mine; it's the perfect bike for me. I've been riding it for 6 years. I carry a Kryptonite cable lock, and lock it up any time I have to take my eyes off of it. That's usually only when I have to make a bathroom stop. I realize a lock won't stop a determined bike thief, but it only takes about 2 seconds for some kid to jump on it; and I'd never see it again.
