sorry for the lack of updates, have been in contact with the seller as well as my friend who owns the bike the police have been (surprise surprise) no help , have left several messages with the appropriate dept with no response. Another forum member has actually delt with the seller before , seems to deal in scrap mostly apparently seemed to be a reasonable guy. Going to head down (with a few friends) with photos of the bike , after i'm off work. May have to play it by ear. Either confront the person directly , or ride off with it (which I've decided is justified if need be) . I appreciate all the advice / suggestions , I'm about as far from a violent person as they come and have been living in WPG for a while, I feel like I've got a good eye for 'trouble' so I'll be careful.
