I lived in Davis from 1985-1987, and I ride from Sacramento to Davis to visit my mother. When I ride to Davis I always cut through the UC Davis campus. In spite of all this, I never knew bike accidents were so commonplace until I heard the scanner calls.
I saw them all the time on campus from '85 to '90. Fall quarter was always the worst with the influx of freshmen on campus. Only hit once but saw accidents several times a week...
