Yep. We put a hard limit on our gifts ($25) because my wife is going into her last semester of her Masters (Nurse Practitioner) in which, she won't be able to work for 6-8 months. Big hit to our finances (she's currently the Stroke Coordinator of a hospital here) and we'll have to depend on our savings that we've specifically set aside for this period.
