I bought my girl a Garmin 500...and figured I might as well get one for myself.
When my wife would ask me what I wanted for X-mas I'd say "the Garmin 500 please" and she'd respond with something along the lines of refusing to pay so much money for a cycling computer. My current computer started acting up so I was proactive and got myself the Garmin (which I really like by the way) and NOW she wanted to get me it for X-mas. When she saw me installing it she tells me she wanted to get it for me because she really appreciates that I'm dedicated to riding every day and understands why I get stuff to make my riding experience more enjoyable. I wonder if she said that just because she didn't have to get it for me....hmmm...

My family finds me annoying to shop for because most things I want I buy so when the holidays or birthdays roll around they don't know what to get me.
