You should have just made it a 'buy it now'. Better to have to list something a few times and get what you actually want for it than let it go for too little.
Also, listing and final value fees are lower for BIN than auction style listings. I had no trouble getting my BIN price when I sold my extra Leader 721tr frame. It only cost me 50 cents to list it at that price, so even if it didn't sell, that's all the money I'd lose.
