Right, but the problem is that alot of degrees don't leave you entering the job market with any marketable skill.
Most sci/eng majors know how to operate many different instruments and apparatuses.

I agree that anyone who goes through the motions and actually graduates has a valuable mind and work ethic. It's just more or less difficult depending on what your degree was and where you are trying to work.
