I just can't justify that purchase for the amount of use I'd get around here (Detroit area) where the snow just doesn't last. I'm curious, though -- my son said his reading so far indicated that studded tires were available only in the 26" diameter. Is this true? Because I don't own any MTB's, just road bikes and three-speeds.
