I'm planning on doing the 2012 SF Randonneurs brevet series, along with the SFR 1000k in June. It'll be my first 1000k. I did the SFR series last year and it was a blast.
I also plan on doing the 200k/300k/400k SFR mixed terrain brevet series in late summer. I did the Old Cazadero 300k last year (
http://www.ridebike.org/2011/old-caz-300k/) and it was a crazy adventure - long steep climbs in Sonoma like Fort Ross Rd and Old Cazadero Rd, twisting dirt descents and climbs, gravel descents, and a creek crossing, with 15000+ ft elevation gain. I'm looking forward to the Marin Mountains 200k, which is mostly dirt, and King Ridge 400k, which is an even crazier version of the Old Caz.
Should be a full season!
