OP, have you test ridden a 56 Tarmac?

My wife is 5'10" but has fairly short legs. She rides a 54 Tarmac with very little seatpost showing.

Me, I'm 5'10" with very long legs. I've ridden a 56 Tarmac, but I prefer the 54 - I like a lot of saddle to bar drop.
