ALAN supercorsa, Same question, different owner.

Well well well, what do we have here?
Picking this one up tomorrow as shown but have no intentions for it yet.
group is full arabesque with a GC code on the cranks (87?) minus the campy headset.
If this is the earliest of ALAN frames I'm not sure quite how I would like to ride it.
at 56X56 it is a little small for me but possible also the slacker geometry (compared to a vitus) should be more lenient.
Obviously it need a wheel, a seat and some love. but would the group be better put towards another project? everything is in great shape, except the gold gian seatpost in 25.0

Then comes the age old question:
is it going to be safe?
no cracks were seen on the headtube but the fork did have some wobble with headset tight (ovalized?).
Were the first generation ALANs the least trustworthy?






No braze-ons, I guess it would make a good conversion.
