I've had problems with corporate Specialized. They give all the warranty and complaints to the LBS dealer and if they don't want to help you, you are screwed. They walk away from it. They suck. You can try another Specialized dealer or bring it to another bike store.
Make sure you are in the middle chainring, preferably the largest chainring and see if it skips. If so, it looks like you may have the cable too tight, a bent hanger, or a wrong set H limit screw. I doubt if it's the cassette or chain being the low mileage on your components. Check each chain link to make sure you don't have a binding link, a bent link, a rivet sticking out too far, or a side plate that has popped off the rivet.
It is not up to the owner to diagnose the problem, but the shop. Then it is their responsibility to fully explain cause and cure as well as the reason they cannot warrantee the issue. Again, it is not the limit screw and very unlikely a cable tension or chain defect issue.
We can't come to a conclusion as to your next step with Specialized until we know the results of the diagnosis.
