yeah. i can't really say much other than if you divide the time i spend in the rain by the comfort and enjoyment i get out of that jacket it's well, well worth it. i don't think i knew what 'high quality' meant before this.
maybe it's not worth the money to you, and that's fine, but i'm not rich by any means... but uh, i guess i'm in the rain a lot?
most breathable 100 dollar jackets are NOT waterproof. my friend builds hiking trails and he said goretex will soak through after you've been out in the rain. even when i've been out in the rain in 3ply laminate jackets like my conduit dt, the way the jacket was cut had it dripping down my pants on a bike. this jacket hasn't once let me down in any way. i wear it all the time, even as just a outer layer when it's cold.
