I'm 56 years old. What's a bunny hop? I take care of my stuff and I have never abused or even used this bike hard. This bike has seen nothing more severe than some intermediate singletrack at a slow speed. The owner at the LBS where I bought the bike kept insinuating that I was shifting both front and rear shifters at the same time.
I have more faith in the shop that has it now so I'm hoping they can do something with this bike. I looked into what it would take in order to take this to small claims court. That is a big hassel and it would require me to take days off work.
Specialized has refused numerous requests to refund my money, saying they can get the shops to fix it. The shops can't. My conservative estimate is that I've had it back 9 or 10 times. It's at the shop now and I'll be talking to the owner soon. My only hope is that he can get something done. He's a good guy and he seems to have a good rapport with the warranty rep. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Like the previous posted stated, any other bike I've had has worked well. Even the Walmart specials. This is the first "real" bike that I've put up some big bucks for and it won't even work properly. That's the pisser. I could see if this was a WAlly World bike that some part-time high school kid assembled, but this is an expensive bike from a supposedly reputable manufacturer and it just plain doesn't work. And the company won't make good. That's what sucks.
