yeah it really stunned me and the symptom was similar to having spacer issues with the lockring but when i took it into the LBS sure enough, my hub was stripped... luckily there are two sides to the hub so i upgraded to a euro-asia and haven't looked back since. The frame is fine... pedal upgrades are next
