Rims and spoking seem more than durable. I would considering upgrading the hubs, though. The standard road Velocity hub is a rebadged formula and it is not unusual for people to have bearing and or freehub issues with the rear. I happen to like the White Industries H2/H3 combo, but they also have several other good options. Shimano Ultegra hubs are often considered the standard in durability and would still keep the set fairly economical.
