I would say go for it. The only way to do it, is to do it. Until I rode when it was colder, the coldest i had ever ridden in was 60 degrees, now I can say that the coldest i have ridden in was -20 F.

Somewhere, I remember reading the best way to get used to riding in cold weather, is to ride in cold weather.
