Functionally the wheel is fine. But if function is all we were after, we'd all be riding Taiwanese aluminum bikes with Ultegra.

Every wheel I build, the valve hole is aligned properly, the stickers are oriented the right way. I do it for the same reason I solder my cable ends, clean my bike before every race, same reason I shave my legs.
