I could have built any wheels I wanted for both my bikes and went with 32h on both. I would never feel a need to go lower than 28h.

I've never mixed two different rims but wouldn't have a problem if they were the right combo. Angie has a Deep V rear/Aerohead front on her 721 that is totally badass.

Personally, I wouldn't use carbon rims. Also, I hate Ellipses so I may be the wrong guy for these questions.
