In my second build I tensioned a 36 spoke touring wheel to 100kg on the drive side. It is built with Wheelsmith double butted spokes.
I did a week long ride with 45 to 55 pounds of gear in the rear bags and about 185 pounds in the tub sitting on the saddle. On some bumpy back roads I had the rear loosen up to the point that I thought I had a flat. After that ride I found the Loctite at the refinery and tried it. It worked.
