Bikes: Superb Sprint, Superb Vivace, Geekhouse rockcity, landshark roadshark, Cannondale jekyll carbon 1, Cannondale Perp

Hey guys, inspiration from the Sprint came from the Cannondale track and some other 90's aluminum frames that haven't been made for over a decade. Every company on earth is making aluminum frames with carbon forks right now and most people are riding them around town instead of the track. As urban riders we thought a steel fork would make more sense on a lightweight aluminum bike than a carbon fork, and in reality our sprint frame with steel fork is almost identical in weight to a similar size Mash frame. It isn't an exact copy, but obviously there is a resemblance. Our dropouts are much nicer in my opinion and have stainless steel plates. The tubing shapes are different, for instance we use a triangular shaped top tube vs round on the Cannondale track. Also the track had an offset seat tube to bottom bracket junction, and ours doesn't. I don't know the geometry of the Cannondale Track, but we spent a lot of time on the geometry of the Sprint and I think it is really dialed. I am also pretty sure if we had put a carbon fork on the same frame someone would have said we were copying the Mash or Kagero frame, so at some point you just have to make the bike you want to make, and the people that like it will grab one and be happy and others can get something else!

As far as the Vivace, the supercorsa wasn't really what we were going for at all. The supercorsa uses a fastback seat cluster and we like the more traditional style. We were trying to make a classic italian "style" track frame, with real track geometry, not modified like most companies are doing now, but like I said in an earlier post, the only thing different in most lugged track frames is the paint, branding and to some extent geometry. It is really all in the details and we really took the time to dial it in, and we are super stoked with the results. But the Vivace is by no means a blatant copy of the supercorsa.

I hope this answers all the questions and anyone can shoot us an email or call our shop anytime with questions, we are open 7 days a week!
