This time of year I average 4 days a week. The rides are pretty hard with Saturday and Sunday being long and hard. The M-W-F are nice to have off but i'd rather be riding. If I do ride on those days, I go easy and ride with the wife. In the summer (more daylight) I have many weeks of everyday riding. Believe me, you have to mix it up or you will get burned out.
I have a buddy that started riding last year and he did the same ride everyday, he's at the point now where he hasn't ridden once in several weeks. Guess he lost the love?
