$240, plus full price on the ultrasonic cleaner. Not one of those smokin' $15 thrift store finds, but still a very good deal, IMO, especially since almost any POS will command that much in SF area.

I'm not sure just yet. I'll probably clean, polish, and build it up as is at first. If it fits, I think it might make a good canvas for my first-ever modern build. But that would have to wait until later, as I'd need to save up for parts. I'm debating selling the Ideale saddle to help fund it, but I'm also loathe to let any rare items vintage items go--especially since I know I'd probably regret it later and would have a hard time replacing it. I see the Suntour Cyclone has a limit of 24t, which is not low enough for my needs (or knee-ds, if you will). I wasn't really looking for another project at the moment, as I already have 4 or 5 in the queue, so it may be a while before I get to it. Open to suggestions!

Btw, can/would you re-space a vintage titanium frame if I decide to go with a 8/9/10-speed drive? I assume it's 120mm now. Would that be pushing my luck? I' also reluctant to change such a rare bird.

Thanks. Agreed. I like that it has seat stay caps and a "classic-style" fork crown, which you don't often see on a ti frame.

A couple more questions:
• Any suggestions for cleaning titanium? I read in another thread that Tom Kellogg suggests Pledge. Thoughts?
• Anyone recognize the headset? It's a Zeus, but it doesn't quite match any of the three Zeus headsets listed on velobase.com.
