I think I'm going to leave the engravings on the stem alone for now. That way, there are a few 'customizable' touches I can leave to her discretion rather than taking charge of every last detail before she even sets eyes on it. I'm still on the fence: white (match the engravings on the lugs) or matching metallic purple to match the frame color itself.

I'll keep an eye out for Terry saddles - not familiar with them, so I appreciate the tip!
