Still learning - see? You can teach an old dog new tricks

Simple tool for that BB, and you can use it on cartridge Shimanos as well. I recommend get the "deeper" one from Park Tool.
The new design is really nice. But....You have to have all the special tools to work on it though. I just found that out on my recent build. Special wrench for the BB, a 14mm Allen sockect and torque wrench for the outer crank bolt. Then you need special puller adapters when using an automotive style jaw puller for removal.
+1 With the new 10-sp Veloce,
same thing. I had to make a big hex head tool simply to tighten the R crank arms (3 nuts locked together on a bolt). I have no idea how I'll get the arms off if I need to remove the crankset. I sure don't want to buy one of those pullers.
Shimano and Campy both pulled the same thing with the 11-sp chains. Tools cost several x what the chains do.
My crankset has the self-extracting bolts - that's a 14mm, huh? Once the bolts are out, can I not use my C&V NR/SR crank puller tool to remove the crank?
Trying to get my list updated for the toolbox - thanks for the input!

Edit: answered my own question - my extractor tool will work. Whew!
Yep, you did. No problems with the 8-sp stuff.
Another reason why I went with 10-sp Centaur on the next one, and was lucky enough to get the stuff all NOS.
