The slots seen below were originally supposed to be 5 countersunk drillings. But we won't go into that
I'm sold on the slot, anyway. I intend to do some similar shape on the RD so I will alternate between slots and countersunk holes. I think it'll all balance out in the end.
Also added a photo of the Chorus 102mm BB. I picked up this basically-NOS unit from Ebay for $45.
Glad to finally be done with these. Just have to either locate a spare set of shift triggers or clean up the ones I have (that are pitted and are not a matching set size-wise).

Yes, there are still a few pits here and there, but in the end I was going nuts trying to hit them all and I admit - I gave up trying

Nice job on the slotting! You can save a whole lot of money on machines if you can do work like that by hand.
On that note check out the email I just sent you, the complete opposite of being able to cut a slot by hand!
