Some of the "normal group" from the local randonneurs were down in Houston for one of their brevets. So I arranged a 200k perm, posted it, and had one response, one of the ladies I've ridden with quite a bit. So Saturday, we did the 200k. She hadn't been riding much lately, so there were several miles towards the end that got pretty slow. But she's fun to ride with, so it was a good day. There was wind all day, not terrible wind, but it seemed like we just never did have a tailwind, either.
Today, I rode down to White Rock Lake, made a loop around it, and back. I usually try to pass everyone I see while going around the lake, and managed to do that today, but really had to work at it.
Both days, it got up into the upper 50's or maybe 60, cool, but not bad.
