The Centurion was designed with less clearance between the tire and the fork crown & brake bridge, since it used lower-profile tires. The brake calipers are shorter reach, and wouldn't work on the KHS because it has room for bigger tires and requires more reach.

You'll need nutted long-reach brakes to make the 700c wheels work, but it should be possible.
