Going in a straight line, no problem. Also you are spot on with the visibility. I actually think drivers see me far better at night than during the day.
Totally agree with all of that. I take it easy on the downhills, preferring to push harder on the uphill sections to get in a good workout. Average speed is always slower, but it's still better than not riding.
