bolts are about 1-5/8" and 2" long and work with my Park BBT-22 tool. YMMV.
this method may work cartridge style BB and this tool but not for the Fixed cup on an 'cup and cone' style BB. for an older style fixed cup you need something to take up the space between the end of the spindle and the wrench. hence the need for the cup
