I also recently picked up a 93 Cannondale R500. It's currently torn down and being updated. I also have a not-so C&V aluminum '03 Trek 1000 built as my everyday road bike. I don't notice much of a difference ride-wise compared to my Tange #2 fast sport tourer. But the roads here are darn smooth.

Why would you hang that sweet ride on the wall? Fantastic build, a real time capsule. Even that white saddle shines like the day it was new. What kind of deraillers are mounted on it?
