Littlefoot, that's a shame. It gets me wondering, though, similar to Roody (kind of?) to seeing about contacting our local bicycling advocacy group about purchasing bike racks for some of the local businesses, collectively. Does anyone know if the city would need to be ultimately involved to make sure these racks are bolted into the cement (forgive me if this is a silly question)? I just know that when I've seen some of the rinky-dink self-standing ones, that system's just begging for the bikes to be ripped off (carry off the bike & the rack)
