In my case, the only aluminum one I've owned (so far) was an '89 Schwinn 564. Got it from Poguemahone, built it up Shimano 600 tricolor, and unfortunately didn't get along with the bike all that well. Something about it just didn't feel right. The frameset ended up going to Robbie Tunes (if my memory is still good), and the components are now on my purple Rossin.
