Evolution and Reintroduction

A week or two ago, I decided to do a full service and deep cleaning of my 1956 Hercules Royal Prince. Since the bike was in very rough shape when I first got it, I did a quick cleanup and upon receiving a set of wheels that were kindly donated by RobbieTunes, I put the wheels on the bike, made some adjustments and rode it a little bit.

For the latest round of work the tasks I performed were: replace and repacked all the bearings (including the pedals), replaced the headset, replaced the tires (the tubes were old, but had no patches and were holding air perfectly!), repainted the fenders, installed a NOS Birmingham chainguard and replaced the Wald fender stays with ones from Velo Orange.

I believe the results speak for themselves...
