Not until frame manufacturers catch up with it and start designing electronic specific frames with circuits embedded in them ala circuit boards. Where you just attach your components and the battery and voila! All set to go.
Now, that would be simply awesome. However, I don't think I'll live to see the day when frame and component manufacturers will ever come to an agreement on a common electronic interface standard, as sweet as that would be. Everybody wants to be unique and proprietary; there's just no financial incentive to play nice with competitors.
