Unfortunately, the implementation didn't make very good use of the space in terms of the number of bikes that can be parked at the new racks, but bike use is pretty low here and the main one is right in front of a small grocery store (owned by a city council member) and one block from the library, both of which have bike racks that rarely (grocer) or never (library) fill up.
The rack at our library is one of the most popular. We have some racks in the shape of an apple at the River Market, but locking the bikes to the rails surrounding an outdoor eating area seems much more popular.
