Exactly my point: Di is only currently available to people who have DA budgets. The next step will probably be 105 di2 at Ultegra price levels. We're still in a period of rapidly declineing prices on this new technology, I'll wait for it to level off before I'll jump it. For what it's worth, my budget might have allowed for Ultegra di2, but my body proportions are such that I don't fit well on off-the-shelf bikes. I chose to spend my money on a custom frame that fits well rather than electric shifting. Maybe when I upgrade in a few years I'll give electronic shifting a try. I'm sure it will be cheaper and lighter by that time.
