Nah, I don't the majority of the people here are not that ignorant or insecure, but I have read posts where they put down mainstream bikes, etc. ( Person b1tching about Pista probably has an old road conversion with a mismatched chainline with low BB that gets pedal strikes, but it's better than your bike cuz he invented it)

All we are trying to say is just ignore it. Obviously any intelligent person would not go sell a real track bike to get a road conversion or less well known brand with road geometry just to impress some people who are beginning to feel insecure about their "undergroundness" and their "uniqueness".

Ride the bike for what it does and how it performs, not it's image. You already knew that though.

IRO has some nice options (Deep V wheelset for example). It's just the frame geometry isn't what I would want.
