Which can easily be had in the weight/price range the OP is looking for. I chased spoke issues for a year with my Mavic CXP-21's. "Upgraded" to the lighter Williams System 30s and have experience zero problems with them. I rode over 8000 miles last year and can easily say that at least 1/2 of them where on the Williams wheels. Figure in the factor that the roads I ride are primarily chipsealed with lots of cracks, holes, etc and I'd say that's a pretty durable wheel. In fact I've now moved these over to my "bad-weather" road bike and am abusing the heck out of them on the winter roads. Not bad for a fairly light-weight, sort of aero wheel that cost me under $500 shipped. Just saying...
