More than MSRP? Don't ever pay MORE than MSRP for anything cycling. Typically prices on bikes like Specialized are like 10% less than MSRP and as the 06 model year gets close (as it is now) the 05 models will be about 20% off MSRP most places. Also at 5'6" there is almost no way a 56cm Trek 1000 fits you IMO and if they tell you that then they are trying to move stock off their floor, in which case you need to find a different bike shop.
