Having just come into some unexpected funds at a time when I'm really frustrated by some issues with my quad-core PC running XP, I'm about to pull the trigger on a Mac Book. Normally I get the highest performance computer I can, knowing it won't be long until it is no longer high-performance, and software developers write for what is current, causing older systems to bog down. But I'm thinking of the 13" Air (dual-core 1.8GHz Intel Core i7 with 4MB shared L3 cache), because I like the solid state disk, light weight, etc. and I'll still have the PC if I need to do some heavy lifting.
Is there any specific reason you suggest the Pro over the Air? People I know with Airs really love them.
